During the week all the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class, participated in the FAI schools soccer competition. The local finals took place in Kilrush on the astro-turf facility. The boys played three matches and played brilliantly. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side with a last minute goal and a disallowed goal, affecting our progress. It was the first time in the competition for our girl’s team. They also played really well. The conditions on the day were great and we were all a little sun burned the next day!
