The Senior room of Doonbeg National School visited Moneypoint Power Station. Did you know that Moneypoint is the only coal powered station in Ireland? Well you know now!
We got to see the chimneys, the control room and more. Each chimney is as high as the Cliffs of Moher! Moneypoint is very interesting. If you get a chance to go there, you should. At the end of the field trip, we got some nice treats.
We all really enjoyed Moneypoint. We also learned some very interesting facts, which I mentioned earlier. It was a really fantastic day out!
